Blazing Saddles Easter Egg - Mel Brooks/Lee Van Cleef Cameo

We all know Mel Brooks was William J. Le Petomane, Governor, and the Indian Chief.

Near the end of the movie, during the initial panning of the line up of thugs signing up to raid Rock Ridge, after the Nazi's and right before the mexican biker gang appears Mel Brooks wearing a baseball cap, oversized dark glasses, white scarf and a brown leather bomber jacket.

He's laughing it up with 3 other men. The man closest to the biker gang is Lee Van Cleef (star of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly and many other spaghetti westerns - he was usually the bad guy). He only turns towards the camera for a brief second when he's about to leave the screen. You can catch him, though, with the pause button on the VCR.
