In the last season, Cory and the rest of the cast is standing outside saying their goodbyes, when he says "boy meets world", "oh now i get it" I guess it was a play on the title.

The name of the highschool in Boy Meets World is John Adams Highschool. They named it this because William Daniels (George Feeny) played the character of John Adams in the 1972 movie "1776".
