O Brother, Where Art Thou? Easter Egg - Writer's Cameo!

In this adaptation of Homer's "Odyssey" by the fabulous Cohen brothers, we follow the travels of three self-liberated convicts that make their way towards home across the American South during the infamous Great Depression.
In one loud scene that features the worried incumbant governor berating his staff over lunch, the camera swings around the room behind the three diners deep in their conference.
Over the left shoulder of the "Boss-Hog" type governor is the bust of Homer on a pedestal.
Well, I thought it was funny.
