Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 Easter Egg - Hidden Movie

Open up the THPS3 Program Folder -- it should be under My Computer>hard drive>program files>activision>THPS3.

From here, go to the folder called "Data" and then to "Movies." There is a movie called "Day." Open it for a musical chairs contest with the design crew!

I first accessed this file after beating the ENTIRE game, including custom skater and Doom Guy. I don't know if it'll work before this is completed.

This isn't really an egg. ...Well, technically, it is, but the movie is not really "hidden," unless you say that all the movies are "hidden" . . .

Rabin, this is not an egg! When the programers place a movie into their game, the movie is saved into a small file. What you did was just search contents of the game. So basically, this is not an egg!

This does qualify as an egg, using the definition given on the home page of this site: "The term 'Easter Egg', as we use it here, means any amusing tidbit that creators hid in their creations." Is the movie amusing? Well, that's a matter of opinion, but let's say yes. Is it a tidbit? More or less. Is it hidden? Yes -- if you follow the normal video-viewing process, you will not find it. So it is an egg.

Rabin, you just don't get it! It's not a egg! It's a cheat! You're searching the contents of the disk to view a movie that your suppose to win! It's a cheat! Cheats are not considered eggs! So there!

Boneho, apparently *you* don't get it. I realize that I was simply searching the disk. However, if the game designers had intended for the movie to be played in the normal fashion, it would appear on the "Movies" menu in the game. As you can see, it doesn't. The only way to find the movie is to look in a place that was not intended to be looked at -- therefore, it was hidden, and is therefore an egg.

I don't think this counts as an egg. In the PS2 version, this video plays during the credits I believe.

The egg here isn't the movie, but playing ANY movie outside of the game. And still that's not hard. Cheers

Dude, I agree with Rabin, this is an actual egg. It is because if the creators wanted it to be seen automatically, they would have put it at the menu, not in another file that you wouldn't look in. This is a genuine easter egg! Thumbs up, Rabin.
