Simpsons, The Easter Egg - The Monkey Paw

In one of the holloween episodes, Homer goes and buys a haunted Krusty doll for Bart. In the shop, on the counter, is a 4 fingered monkey paw. The same one from a previous holloween episode!

Of course it's only a drawn paw!! But it's probably a reference just to make you happy! All the "references" to other episodes are going to be drawn, its a cartoon!

The whole "monkey paw" thing is based on an actual story, "The Monkey's Paw". It's sort of like the "Gift of the Magi" but more dark. This paw grants wishes but with a satanic little twist. (i.e. : Someone wishes for $10,000, but they get it as an insurance settlement when a family member dies, etc.) This explains the fear of the monkey's paw.

PLEASE stop nitpicking everyone's comments to death. I am interested in the eggs themselves (even the one's that are not technically eggs), not if other people can catch spelling/grammar mistakes. You guys are really taking the fun out of this site. Thanks!!!

Yes I agree stop nitpicking peoples messages. So what they spelled Halloween wrong. I don't even call it Halloween I call it Samain or All Hallows Eve. And I bet no one here knows why but that's off the topic but anyway...
