It is not only the tombstone of the never seen Salinger parents, it is THE tombstone that was used on Party of Five for the cemetary scene in the second season (man I watch too much tv!).

This is also in one of the "I Know What You Did last Summer Movies." I think it's the second movie. there is a scene where Jennifer Love Hewitt (one of the actresses from party of Five) is being chased through a graveyard by the killer. There is a brief scene where the same Salingers gravestone is shown.

Which episode? I have most of them on video but I can't remember that episode. I almost know every episode by heart. I said ALMOST.

Scully didn't fall in love with him-he became enamored with her.

To arab9223: The episode is called Milagro, and it's from the sixth season.

The SALINGER tombstone found in Milagro referred to the "reclusive novelist" J. D. Salinger, says the Official Guide to the X-Files - Volume Five. It was a joke by the props department, although I like the Party Of Five theory better.
