Perfect Circle, A Easter Egg - Re: D. Lohner

A live track by A Perfect Circle, named Renholder may not hav anything special about it (also included on some versions of the album), but in fact it does. Read the title backwards, and you will find that it reads: 'Re: D. Lohner'. This is a emeo to Danny Lohner about the track. It is also, apparently, his favourite track by the band. If you are not convinced, then play the track backwards, listening carefully at about 22 seconds in. You should hear the words: "Danny Lohner, Danny Lohner"said in a high-pitched voice. Very spooky.
Danny Lohner is, in fact, a bassist/guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist for industrial rock group Nine Inch Nails, but he was one of those who created A Perfect Circle, but left early on. he has also done two remixes of A Perfect Circle's tracks 'Judith' and '3 Libras'.

Check out Paz's black Fender Precision Bass at a live gig (wich won't be for a while, though) - in white letters it says "D.Lohner" too! A Perfect Inside-joke!

Danny Lohner is now a full member of APC. He replaced Troy van Leeuwen who is now in Queens of the Stone Age.

nice eegg there. I wonder the origin of a lot of Maynard's title, lyrics and art often. Seems like a lot of TOOL's titles are meant to sound like they didnt put a whole lot of thought into it. I read he and/or the rest of the bed get inspiration from smoking DMT, a product of a foreign plant. i guess it's nice they've thought other ways to come up w/ stuff.

Just an update on cultish terror's comment. Danny Lohner was a founding member of APC, and he did rejoin after Troy left. But he only worked with them in the studio on 'Thirteenth Step' - he couldn't fulfill live duties (whether due to prior commitments or other reasons) so ex- Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha took his place. Whether or not he'll be performing on their next album, eMotive, remains to be seen...
