MetaPad Easter Egg - Convert Selected: 31337 H4Ck3r

Open MetaPad, click the Help dropdown menu, click About. On the About screen, double-click the MetaPad logo. The About window will "shake" for a time, then stop. The logo will have changed to a bloody eyeball. Close the About window.

Click the Edit dropdown, go to Convert Selected. There is an additional feature listed at the top which converts selected text to "hacker-speak". :)

Note that this feature is also hotkeyed to Ctrl-* (use the star on the number pad). The author's secret feature is and has always been available, even in "regular logo" mode!

Restore the normal MetaPad logo by repeating the steps that changed it into the eyeball.

I can't claim discovery, but couldn't believe the egg wasn't already posted, so...
