When Cotton Weary appears on TV in Current Edition, the guy interviewing him is screenwriter Kevin Williamson.

In the background for one of the hospital scene (Hard to spot) you can see Wes Craven if you look real close.

The guy who plays the film class professor is the same guy who hosts Rock n' Roll Jeopardy on VH1. Wes Craven has a walk by cameo - very brief - in the hospital as Derek is getting bandaged up.
