Over-nite Sensation (Frank Zappa/Mothers) Easter Egg - Pointing "the Finger" at Flo
Back in the early 1970's, Frank Zappa's band included Flo and Eddie (Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan, both formerly of The Turtles.) However, by the time Zappa made the "Over-nite Sensation" album in 1973, Flo and Eddie had left the band under acrimonious circumstances. Zappa made his feelings known on the cover of "Over-nite Sensation": Along the right edge of the front cover, partially obscured by other artwork, there is a drawing of a hand with its middle finger extended, and the word "FLO" above. The booklet of the current CD reissue unfolds to approximately the same size as the original LP cover. Unfold the booklet and check it out
