Tomb Raider 3 Easter Egg - Quad Race Track at Lara's House

To get to the really cool quad racing track in Lara's house do the following:

1 - Go up to the attic and push in the block there two times.

2 - Go down out of the attic and round to the library.

3 - Along the bookcase at your right look for a book that is sticking out.

4 - Go up to this book and press action to turn it around.

5 - The fire in the fireplace will go out. Climb up the fireplace (do this quickly because the fire comes back on after a while).

6 - Follow the path to the secret room with the lever.

7 - Climb up the ledge and push the block in once so that it is pressed in against the wall. There should now be a path from the secret room into the attic.

8 - Pull the lever and very quickly run down to the direction of the gym but don't enter it - go into the secret door that has just opened. (This may take a few tries as the door doesn't stay open for long).

9 - Follow the path until you get to the large aquarium. Push the block there until it's directly under the hole in the ceiling.

10 - Climb up onto the block, into the passageway in the roof and into the water.

11 - Swim all the way around to the other side of the aquarium, pick up the key and climb back out.

12 - Go back the way you came and go out of the house.

13 - Go over to the grassy wall where there is a gate and a keyhole and open it using the key.

14 - You will now find yourself in the quad racing track! This is very cool!

n.b You might want to lock the butler in the freezer before you start to prevent him getting in your way when racing down to the secret door by the gym.

This isn't an egg as it was designed to be found and is not hidden, e.g. you don't have to go and do some tricky thing to get to as you have to find the key

Uh, do you even have the game? This key was not exactly "meant" to be found, and I have performed the above directions and it isn't all that easy. I'd say it's an eegg and I will continue to say "lighten up."

There is a MUCH easier way to get the key, however, it is not an egg. On Play-station 1 press these buttons: R2,L2(x3),R2,L2(x6),R2,L2(x5),R2,L2(x2)

I've got bad news for all you "yes, it's an egg" people; this is not an egg. If you all open your Prima Offical Strategy guide books to page 7, you will find this very difficult stunt printed for your gaming pleasure. Sorry about that, gang! Long live Lara!!

This is not an egg. It's a secret, like the ones you have in the proper levels, but they don't bother adding the secret chime as it doesn't contribute to the total number of secrets in the real game. Or something. Have any of you discovered Lara's secret trophy room in this level? Another "secret/egg".

Where are you supposed to do it, Talie? If you do it inside, she just says no. If you do it out side, she just kneels down.....

I have this game on PC CD ROM, and I found the key to get into the quad bike track, albeit after reading a walkthrough, you ARE supposed to find the key, otherwise you can't get into the quadbike track, unless you use a corner bug to jump onto the roof of the house, and jump from there ...

Just to show my ignorance am I the only person who doesn't know what a 'corner bug' is, someone please explain. Also I've found the trophy room and quad bike area. I say they ARE eggs as they are really hard to get into.

Not an egg. The door to the track is in the front garden - not exactly hidden. When you have to dash to the door to the aquarium, it's a good idea to jump forward over the banister, jump again, and then jump sideways over the banister above this door. I've never heard of the corner bug. If you lock the butler in the freezer, he still appears when you do the obstacle course unfortunately.
