Pokemon Easter Egg - Moonie Info! Scout/Senshi Sighting!

Watch the episode. When Ash is signing up for the test, at one point you see Ash the way you would if you were the guy signing people up. Look over Ash's right shoulder. You can see a girl on one of the weird couch things they have. She has blue hair in a guys cut. It's Amy/Ami from Sailor Moon!

It isn't Ami. It's just a generic, stock anime character. In animation, (even using weird colors) there are only so many combinations of features that you can use to create characters. Therefor, you're bound to find similar-looking characters every once in a while. This is a good example.

It's true. There are tons of anime characters that look alike, just like... (Sorry, I forget ur handle)... said about there only being so many combinations. Example: Every time I draw an anime style guy he ends up looking like Tenchi... O.o; ...every time... O.O

i gotta agree... there are only so many different combinations of manga/anime features that sooner or later, they will be repeated.

Actually, both theories probably have something to them. First off, yes, there ARE only so many combinations you can do with animated characters. However, there's also a quality to a LOT of anime nicknamed the "Star System" where characters (usually from other works by the same writer/producer) make "guest appearances" in other stories...Tezuka Osamu's stuff is RIFE with it... -El Juno

Ok, people. Maybe this isn't so strange after all. It's a well-known fact in Japan that different studios and animators incorporate characters from other shows. Usually, they are friends or followers of that creator. Takeuchi Naoko had the animators of Sailor Moon do that a lot in different episodes. And please don't scream at me or tell me I'm an idiot because I wouldn't comment if what I was saying was false. Arigatou.
