It's actually in the end of the song "L.A.Woman", but everything else is right. Mr. Mojorisin=Jim Morrison

Jim Morrison joked that he would run away to Africa and use Mr Mojorison as his name. Maybe he really didn't die in Paris :)

actually the name Mr Mojorisin was given to him by patricia Keneally who he later married in a hand-fasting ceremony

Actually if any of you had bothered to check any facts before you posted them you would know this little item. Jim's father's name was Steve Morrison his mother was Clara. His father was an admiral in the Navy. Mr. Mojo Risin' was an anagram for Jim Morrison as Jim admitted to ever since he first used it. It does appear in the song L.A. Woman but also in live versions of other songs. I would not consider this an egg or even real hard trivia

None of the comments I've read say what I heard. If anyone out there knows what a Mojo is, then you would know exactly Morrison was referring to. Mojo risen...get it?

Moving the letters around in Mr. Mojo Risin to spell Jim Morrison is mentioned in the book "Riders on the Storm." The band, and Jim, seem to have been well aware of this.

I don't know what two cents thinks a mojo is, but it's a good, or bad luck charm. Mojo's are mentioned extensively by old, superstitious blues musicians.

Just for the record regarding the arrival of the 'Mojorisin' terminologhy. Patricia Kennealy Morrison states in her book STRANGE DAYS, that she, through using the letters in Morrison's name, came up with it however she also states that she is not sure whether or not this is how Morrison came to use it. Just for the record. PS Strange Days is a terrific read and a real insight into someone, so it seems, who 'really' knew Morrison besides others who have written about him from a second hand viewpoint.
