Planet Of The Apes (2001) Easter Egg - The Statue of Thade

In chapter 35, at approximately 1:25 minutes into the chapter when the statue of Thade is presented in full view, hit the play button again, and you will instantaneously be transported to a "making of" scene and decisions made about the statue. Very cool. If anyone has any additional "play button" featurettes, please add them here at eeggs.

That's actually part of the Enhanced Viewing Mode feature that is on Disc One. When you activate the feature, you'll get pop up windows of actors and crew talking about various scenes in the movie. There is also a little symbol that pops up in the corner when a "Behind the Scenes" can be accessed. All you have to do is press "enter" when the symbol pops up.

The next "play button" egg I found is in Chapter three, just when the Oberon starts losing power, pressing play starts a tiny featurette about..of course..the Oberon.

Okay..I give up...I'm guessing almost each chapter has one of these play button features attached. I just hit the next one in the pod crash sequence. Just keep hitting play throughout the movie and you will hit them all.

This is not an egg, under special features it points this out, and marks the spot you hit play in with a trident.

These are not easter eggs, if you switch on Enhanced Viewing Mode you can access all of these clips when the symbol, or menu pops up while watching the movie

Yes. This is not an egg. Please disregard this in haste of searching for eggs on the disc.
