X-Files Easter Egg - Fictious Fox Cigarette Companies

In the second-season episode, "Soft Light," two victims are killed by having their molecules "unzipped." The first victim is a representative for the fictional cigarette company, "Morley." The second person works for the fictional cigarette company, "Larimie." "Morley" is the brand of cigarette the X-Files' Cigarette-Smoking Man smokes, and "Larimie" is the widely used cigarette on the Simpsons.

Actually i saw a episode of beverly hills 90210 where Brenda started smoking after when in Paris and when she came home she dropped a pack of Morley smokes on the floor in front of her parents and they had a serious talk about the healt dangers of smoking, Dylan even said "I have never been in a long-term relation with a smoker and i dont intend on beginning now". But then again, how cool was Dylan?

Fox also shares other things. For instance, in the movie "Independence Day" and "Godzilla" (which are 2 fox film productions, i think), they both share the same TV news network. Channel 12 if i'm not mistaken. The logos are the same and all. I could be wrong about which movies this is shared in, but I am pretty sure that one of them Is independence day.

did you know both Laramie and Morley packs are just the same as the well-known brand Marlboro?

If any of you ever see the movie "Gunshy" with Mitch Pileggi, near the beginning, the main character (played by Liam Neeson [sp?]) has a pack of Morleys.

I noticed also that in the new movie Prozac Nation, Christina Ricci smokes Morleys. Once I saw the name I noticed it from X-Files and went right to Google to see if it was an actual brand.
