Spice World Easter Egg - The Movie Pitch

Richard Grant plays the Spice Girls manager and in one scene he is being pitched an idea for a Spice Girls movie. In the middle of the pitch, he stops the guy and says "haven't I heard that before?" In the movie THE PLAYER Richard Grant plays a screenwriter pitching a movie to Tim Robbins who plays a studio exec. The pitch Richard Grant tells Tim Robbins in THE PLAYER is word for word identical to the one pitched to him in SPICE WORLD.

There's another thing, though it's not really an egg. Remember in the TV commercials when Posh asked "is my skirt too short?" ? Well, I've rented this movie twice, and that scene doesn't exist!

everclearfan, you are right when you watch the movie on VHS that scene isn't there, BUT if you got the oppurtunity to watch it in the theatre, it was in there. Movies will cut out scenes (that they think is unimportant to the plot) (as if there is a plot in Spice World, LOL) and in Spice World that was one scene that they cut out, since on VHS it will say something like, 'this film has been modified to fit your screen'. I dont know why they cut scenes out but it was in the theatre scenes.:)

waaazzzuuuuuup is right. I saw this movie in the theatres about 10 times, then bought the video. I remember walking out of the theatre quoting Posh, but when I got the video, I noticed it was gone.

Actually waaazzzzuuupppp, the reason it says "this film have been modified to fit your screen" is for exactly what it says...to fit your screen...the screen of a tv doesnt affect whether a movies plot will make sense or if the length of the movie will fit...and i think some dvds say it too, not just VHS's. but im not 100% sure...am i right?
