For the record, Joey Lauren Adams is NOT Kevin Smith's wife. Kevin Smith's wife appears on screen as one of the jewel thieves(not Eliza Dushku, the other dark haired one). Kevin and Joey Lauren Adams dated for a while after Mallrats, and the story behind "Chasing Amy" is kinda based on their relationship. Also, the girl who Joey Lauren Adams' character Alyssa Jones comes walking out of the movie theater with is her screen sister Tricia Jones, who was in Mallrats.

Okay i thought i would clear this up as some people seem confused. Joey Lauren Adams is in the movie but is not Kevin Smith's wife however his wife is one of the three leather clad jewel thieves. Kevin did however have a relationship with Joey and was an inspiration for the film "Chasing Amy" in which Joey played the lead female role and also plays the same character in Jay and silent Bob Strike Back. Also the comic store in the film "Brodie's Secret Stash" is actually Kevin Smith's Real life comic store named "Jay and silent Bob's secret Stash"

Kevin Smith is NOT married to Joey Lauren Adams. He's married to one of the cat burglars, the one with long dark hair. He pointed her out in an interview with Conan O'Brien back when he was "promoting" his movie.

Mental note... the children are not left out in front of the Quick Stop. They are left out in front of the video rental store which Randal generally inhabits. In clerks if you watch the scene where Randal tells off the female customer who "tricks him" by showing him the same tapes and asks what he thinks. they stand in front of the rental store most of the time. Check the beginning of Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back again, you'll see the familar "I assure you we're open" sign on the Quick Stop, and the Jay & Almost Silent Bob babies are parked in front of the rental store. ACTUALLY if you look closely, the Pre-Jay and the Pre-Silent Bob are in front of neither the Quick Stop, nor RST Video. They are in front of a store called "The Record Rack" since, after all, the Beta-Max machine was first sold retail in 1975 at a bargain price of $2295 or so, Video rental wasn't REALLY popular in the 70s. But you know what was? Records.

For the record, Kevin's wife's name is Jen Schwalbach. They use her name in "CLerks: Uncensored." She writes one of the letters Dante and Randal read. For clarification, she is the jewel thief in JSBSB who drives the car, wears pigtails, and has big ears. She's also considerably older looking than the other three.

Another cameo for Kevin Smiths wife, in dogma the lady selling tickets at the train station when Ben Afflet and Matt Damon are tring to get to New Jersy , that is also Kevin Smiths wife.

Poisonous Kisses - you are incorrect. The woman selling tickets in Dogma is Guinevere Turner - best known for "Preaching to the Perverted". - IMDB says that she also appeared as a singer in Chasing Amy.
