Jurassic Park Easter Egg - You're Lucky to Get Out With...

Watch for the scene where the survivors and Hammond arrive at the helipad by jeep to flee
the island. Look at the "Jurassic Park" logo
on the side of the jeep. The set decorators
have carefully splattered mud so that it reads
" ur ass Park"--as in "you're lucky to get out
with your ass in one piece." From any other
director, this could be a coincidence, but
Spielberg's got too careful an eye for detail...
this is an egg for the observant!

How did they get the space between the "r" and the "a?"

yoda> Called Jurassic Park, the film is. Obvious it is that text on car with more letters Jurassic Park it spells. Should know that, Wise creature like Yoda. (In case you haven't noticed, I've dramatized this comment by talking as Yoda.)

Hey, Humpty: It kinda kills the joke when you have to EXPLAIN IT! It WOULD be "Jurassic Park" if the mud wasn't splattered on it, genius.

Shawn, I would like to know the other "slip ups" in this movie. I can only find one so far, it is the scene where the baby raptor is hatching and John is baby talking it. In one shot, the claw is laying around the egg and then they go to another angle and the claw is gone completely. I have one more that may be a slip, but I'm not sure. I was curious which slips you were talking about.

OK, the T-rex has wrecked the jeep and is merrily chewing the tyes off and spinning it around when Dr. Grant and the girl have to climb onto the wall. Grant looks behind him and we see a 50 - 60 foot drop and a huge tree beneath them. Tell me, with only one place the T-rex broke through where did the 50-60 foot drop come from? Did the T-rex have a trampoline???

Arabian Knight, Thankyou! I have asked myself that same question about the T-rex and the 50ft drop. I just tell myself that the T-rex is clever and a good climber, or that maybe I just missed something. It helps me sleep at night.

In the scene where Grant grabs Lex when she notices the T-rex, he mistakenly grabs her breast and quickly moves up to her mouth....

I dont know if this is up here yet. At the end of the movie, the helicopter flies off into the sunset. But isn't the island 120 miles west of Costa Rica. There is no island close enough west that a helicopter fuel tank could reach. Any reasons?

Hayley, and Arabian Knight, if you've ever driven on a road, you should have noticed that it has TWO sides. The T-Rex paddock is on the left side of the road in relation to the cars. That is where the T-Rex breaks through. The drop is on the right side of the road, the side to which the T-Rex pushes the smashed car. The T-Rex did not scale the 50 foot wall.

After the car drops, you see Grant and the girl on the ground next to a large cement structure with a drain. Maybe the top is where the T-Rex was, which would also explain where the goat came from. The car might have moved back while the Rex played with it.

Hey oreoz check your facts both Brachiosaurus and dilophosaurus wear from the Jurassic period and if you watch the scene were Nedry is stealing the embryos you will notice several other dinosaur species listed that are from the Jurassic including procompsognathus, stegosaurus, and metriacanthosaurus. All of these dinosaurs hail from the Jurassic period.

There is another really obvious one when you see it, in the scene where the children are in the kitchen after arriving back to the visitor center, the first raptor slowly comes through the door, very briefly if you watch the raptors tail as it comes through the door you will notice a hand pushing the tail into position, straight up its there!
