Pearl Harbor Easter Egg - Bruce Willis Cameo

Perhaps if you have pictures we'd believe you.

I don't think that's Bruce. I can see on the quick passing shot that you might see the resemblance, but I think the face is just a bit too long to be Willis. Also he's nowhere noted in the credits, even for a double cameo.

My sister works in a video store and we watched this over and over and over; trust me it's NOT Bruce. Also..don't you think theyd put him in the credits? They always do; hes not there. trust me...its just some bald guy.

I was an 'extra' in this movie and I am one of the sailors in the boxing scene. This scene was filmed in Hawaii. I can GUARANTEE you all that it is NOT Bruce Willis. That guy your talking about is just a regular military 'extra' stationed in Hawaii. And I am fairly sure that other scene that is mentioned, about sorting the soldiers, is not him either. Though that scene was filmed in California, I believe, and so I was not there to see if it was him first hand.

I swear I saw Bruce Willis in this movie but NOT where anyone has mentioned. Get the video and fast forward to around the hospital scene which is approx 2hrs6mins into the movie. Just after the two nurses see their friend dead and one of them freaks out, there is a very clear shot of a wounded man walk past from the left side of the screen to the right. I have shown this to a few people and we are all convinced it is him. By the way, heaps of famous people do cameos and don't get credited so don't rely on credits. If Bruce was playing as an extra, then if his name went up as "Wounded man walking past - Bruce Willis" then they'd have to name every extra in the movie just to be fair. And since he's friends with Michael Bay and Jerry Bruckheimer, then it seems likely it was him.

Although Bruce Willis may not be in those scenes, they did digitaly insert him in the movie. After one of the hospital scenes, when she finds out that the main girl's friend died, you can see Bruce Willis walk in the background behind them. It was the scene of him that was in die Hard 3.

I have not yet seen the boxing scene, however, during the scene in which the sailors are being sorted, I have no doubt that Bruce Willis is that person. If you look in slow motion, he does not fit into the scene, because there are two men behind him who are nearly on top of him. It just doesn't look as if he was filmed into the scene. If you look at how he is dressed and how he looks, It looks to me as he was cut out of a scene from one of the die hard movies, and spliced in.

I was also an extra in the movie, except i was in California. It wasn't bruce, trust me. they put that in from Die Hard 2.

My dog and I were both extras in this movie, along with my mother in law and my second cousin once removed. In addition, I flew one of the old planes in the battle scene, and did Ben Affleck's hair. I also cooked all the food for the crew, coached Faith Hill on the soundtrack, and filled in as director when Michael Bay took his bathroom breaks. Therefore, believe me when I say that it may or not have been Bruce Willis.

Well, to narrow it down, "he may or may not be in the movie Adam... it sounds like you know just as much as the rest of us! Ive watched the movie many times myself and that is not Bruce. And one reason it may look funny, is that at that pointe the nurse has just out that her friend is dead, so she feels overwhelmed and dizzy, thats probably why those couple of guys look like they are on top of each other. It was a camera trick,yes, but for a diffrent reason!

now at first glance in regualr motion... yes it does look lik bruce willis is sitting watching the fight with his dog in the background... but i JUST watched the whole part where he is in the background with the dog at the fisght sceene frame by frame in slow motion.. and BELIEVE me thers no way its him.. first off hes WAYYY to young to be him and he just doesnt really look like him if you look really closely

I reviewed the boxing scene, I can't positively state that the actor is Bruce Willis. It could be very good look-alike or his first cousin on his dad's side, George.

2h56min : Jennifer Garner's crying among the wounded and dead people and we see a man in white t-shirt crossing the screen left to right. It IS an insert of Bruce Willis from a Die Hard movie(certainly the 1st but I'm ot sure). His face seems long because perhaps they distorted his picture for he's not recognizable. And he's not in the credits either because something about the copyright, the right to use his picture or about. but IT IS BRUCE WILLIS but he didn't play in this movie. Maybe somthing about Michael Bay and Bruce's friendship after Armageddon, or a joke, but it is an insert. At least, the quick passing shot at 2h56m.

I meant at 1h57 when Jennifer Garner says "I don't know what to do, I don't know where to go" (at least that's what she says in the french version !). And it IS definitely NOT Bruce Willis with a dog in his arms when Cuba Gooding Jr's boxing.

The sailor holding the dog during the boxing match is definitely NOT Bruce Willis - not even close. The scene with the nurse does look very similar to Bruce Willis walking by just like in Die Hard. But if you pause that scene you will notice the sailor walking by has no cuts or scrapes on his face and his face is clean shaven. In Die Hard, Bruce Willis' face is cut up and he could use a shave. Bruce Willis is NOT in Pearl Harbor! Does anybody know what scene Matt Damon appears in supposedly firing a gun during the attack?
