Pallotta, Jerry Easter Egg - Hidden Features in the Books
In "The Extinct Alphabet Book", the illustrator put three trees on one page. The right two, if looked at carefully, read "Find Jerry". Later in the book, Jerry is found tilted about 45 degrees as a rock.
Also in "The Extinct Alphabet Book", on the Neanderthal page, a face is semi-visible. This face is the illustrator's father.
In "The Animal Skulls Alphabet Book" (which may not be available--yet), the L page shows a lion skull on a large rock. If you study the rock, you'll notice that this is a direct reference to "The Lion King". (The illustrator said to Jerry, "I finished another page. I killed Simba!")
In "Dory Story", a bird appears on every page. Jerry didn't know this until the book was published. It's a good activity for younger kids to play spot-the-bird.
All of the above have been verified by Jerry Pallotta and are 100% authentic.
