Buffy the Vampire Slayer Easter Egg - Kresge Hall

In the show where Buffy and Willow are attending their first day at college, Buffy makes reference to living in Kresge Hall. That's also the name of a residence hall at UC Santa Cruz, Buffy producer Marti Noxon's alma mater.

Most of the buildings at UC Sunnydale are named after buildings at members of the production crews alma maters.

Actually, most if not all of the building names at UC Sunnydale are taken from the campus at UC Santa Cruz. Here's the ones I can remember off hand: Kerr Hall (classroom) Porter (dorm) Stevenson Hall (dorm) Kresge Hall (dorm)

I don't think this is an easter egg. A "Kresge Hall" can be found on DOZENS of college campuses around the country. The Kresge Foundation is a charitable organization that, among other things, helps colleges build new buildings. See http://www.kresge.org/ -bjd
