Gentleman's Blues (Cracker) Easter Egg - 3 Phone Numbers in 3 Tracks
Three tracks on this CD are very short and consist of 11 dial tones each. This just so happens to be the number of dial tones in a US long distance phone number 1 (234) 567 8901. Save these tracks as wav files using a program like Winamp. Use a decoder program like Wintone (found on www.download.com) to decode the tones. The first two numbers are (202) Washington DC area codes, and using reverse lookup (like switchboard.com) you can determine that the first is Bill Clinton/White House (now is G.W. Bush), and the second is the US Independent Council's Office. The third number didn't make sense to me as it was a 310 area code (non existent). It seems to me that they may have wanted you to hold the phone up to the stereo to have you dial these numbers, but seems like you could get in a bit of trouble by doing that...
