Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace Easter Egg - Pepsi and Dew Cans

1. I have found that there are words on some of the Pepsi and Diet Pepsi Starwars Cans.

2. On the Battle Droids left {right to droid} arm you'll find the word Triumph.

3. On the Darth Sidious Can you'll find Enslavement.

4. I'll post more words as I find them.

Yeah .. I have seen them too, I have wondered what they were all about. The Destroyer Droid has JEDI on the upper right of it's shell armor. I have one of the Gold YODA Cans, and it has nothing on it like that. Any Ideas?

Darth Maul has Destroyed; and also, all the cans have numbers on them. I think that if they're arranged in order, it makes a sentance.

The words from the different cans are to be pieced together into three separate secret phrases. http://www.pepsiworld.com/october/starwars/3phrases.html has them -- in text on an inline image, the idiots! Anyway, they are "Anakin breaks free, but may face new enslavement", "One menace is destroyed, but another lurks nearby", and "The Jedi triumph but their future is clouded". Twenty-four different cans. Jeezus. Can *you* name and describe twenty-four different characters in _The Phantom Menace_ without aid?

All the cans have a word on them and you can figure out what they mean on Pepsi's web site. There are 3 phrases.

The words on the cans will make up a sentence when you have them all. I'm missing a few so I can't tell you what the sentence is.

To neo1982: no no NO! It's Darth Maul's Mtn. Dew can that says DESTROYED on it, not Qui-Gon Jin. I forget what his says because the cans were really hard to find here so I gave up on it.

Since the two people who had full sets didn't share, and noone else could pull all the regular cans, here's the full set of words. One per star wars can, look on the fringes of the characters. 1.Anakin Skywalker: NEW 2.Sebulba: LURKS 3.Qui-Gon Jinn: BREAKS 4.Watto: BUT 5.Jabba the Hutt: THEIR 6.Senator Palpatine: FACE 7.R2-D2: BUT 8.Darth Sidious: ENSLAVEMENT 9.Darth Maul: DESTROYED 10.Jar Jar Binks: FUTURE 11.Mace Windu: MAY 12.Obi-Wan Kenobi: ANOTHER 13.Captain Panaka: ANAKIN 14.Rune Haako: IS 15.Ric Olie: FREE 16.Destroyer Droid: JEDI 17.Queen Amidala: BUT 18.Padmè: NEARBY 19.Shmi Skywalker: IS 20.Battle Droid: TRIUMPH 21.Chancellor Valorum: MENACE 22.C-3PO: THE 23.Nute Gunray: CLOUDED 24.Boss Nass: ONE The only sense I can make of it is that it is a rough summarization of Episode I. Just kindof lull your eyes across the words in CAPS and fill in the rest (so long as you've seen the movie.) There is no other correlation that I've seen. I have niether the Golden Yoda can or the Destiny can but I'm sure that thay both have a word on them. Your input is highly appreciated.

Are the hidden words only on cans in the U.S.A? I'm English and I can't find any words on mine :-( Can anyone fill me in? We don't have Mountain Dew either so maybe this has something to do with it.

I don't quite understand what the deal is about these cans. Couldn't you just look at them in the store and write them down? Do you HAVE to collect them?

Excuse me, but what in the world do soda cans have to do with TPM other than they have pictures of the characters appearing in TPM? This is supposed to be eggs IN the movie, not of cans with some connection to the movie.
