It works better if you type "Are you gay?" instead of "Is Jeeves gay?" because you don't have to click the link after asking.

The "Is Jeeves well-endowed?" thing doesn't work. I tried it, and all it did was do all of the things like, Where is the corporate HQ of Ask Jeeves, etc.

If you ask jeeves if he's gay now instead of saying "None of you business" it now says "I prefer jovial" and a little picture of him with a smug look on his face

For those who do not know Jovial means gay as in happy so you are not asking his sexual preference you our asking if he's happy.

I typed in Is Jeeves gay, and clicked on ask and it came up with a screen that had Jeeves' magic 8 ball and it said " Beware so long as you live, of judging people by appearances". lol

The answer that Jeeves gives has been changed to "Sometimes silence is the best answer " for those of you who think you did it wrong.

I tried it on its new Magic 8 Ball thing, and my friend and I kept asking it questions. So finally, we asked "Did you have an affair with Hillary Rodham Clinton?" Do you know what he said? No. He said...Get ready for this... "That horse was rode hard and put away wet long ago." !! It's not an egg, I know, because it's computer generated. But the sheer coincidence of it all was great! I've tried it again, but it didn't seem to work, since it's computer generated... You can keep trying if you want though! Just thought I'd share that with you all!

Hey. I frequently visit Ask.com and recently, I tried the "Is Jeeves Gay?" question. This now opens "Jeeves 8 Ball" and the phrase "Sometimes silence is the best answer." comes up. Pretty funny. Type in other questions too.

There are two different reactions to questions asked to Jeeves, depending of which site you visit. 1) www.ask.com will give you the magic 8 ball, while, 2) www.ask.co.uk will give you I prefer the term "jovial"! Would you like to ask another question? This is the case for most eeggs within Ask Jeeves, Inc.

I did all of the eggs at ask jeeves and some more.Something to laugh at... Myself, being a woman asked Jeeves, will you marry me ? , and a link popped up suggesting Jeeves was gay, it was the second link down.

SAD NEWS!!!!! This is what i read on the Ask.com site... After ten years of dutifully serving a growing population of internet users, Jeeves decided to step down as the face of AskJeeves.com, and retire in style. Jeeves symbolized a traditional, at-your-service butler which made people feel comfortable and at home with asking any type of question. As the web became more of a real-time utility for people, Jeeves' job dramatically changed. Users came to Ask Jeeves for more sophisticated searches. Searches that were informational, navigational, and ultimately, transactional. Ask.com users wanted a search engine to help them search, get and do whatever they needed -- at a moment's notice. This drove us to focus on improving our robust search engine technology and give users the Web's most useful set of tools, and gave Jeeves the opportunity to relax. Today, as Ask.com we are singularly focused on helping users find what they need through the complicated, exciting, ever-changing web. No matter what the search, Ask.com is committed to meeting the search challenge.
