There is definitely a spherical object on the station with one of those things that the DS made the big green laser from, however it is possible that it is a coincidence. It's easy to spot. It's about in the lower-middle part of the station during the pan. It looks like the first DS with a red ring going around it. Looks like the DS, but may be just a coincidence.

I noticed it too, I came to see the titan a.e. eggs SPECIFICALLY to see if it was up here. Also, when Cale jumps off the lift, something bursts into a cloud of dust, what was it?

Actually, it looks kinda like a pokeball, too. But it's definitely there to be something or another.

The Death Star itself looks kind of like a pokeball, if you look at it just right. I have seen pictures of the moon and of one of Saturn's moons (I don't know which) that made them look like disguised Death Stars. All it has to be is spherical with a large crater in the upper hemisphere.

For you DVD-owners: the moment the Death Star comes into the frame is timed at 50:07 - 50:08, just after the green "New Bangkok" titles disappear. This is at the beginning of Chapter 9. The same imagery is later recycled, I noticed. It's in chapter 10, at 58:54. Timing was done on a Region 2-copy of the DVD, the Benelux version (with English, French and Dutch languages included).
