This is the ONLY appearance of the Marx Brother's father on film.

On an incoming ship to America the original insane clown posse(Groucho, Chico, Harpo and Zeppo) pop out of kippered herring barrels. The stowaways try to slip off the ship.

The incoming ship docks and on the shore waiting in the crowd on the pier is "Frenchy" the brothers' father!! In true Marxian fashion however; he is also a passenger on board deck!! He is meeting himself!!
