Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Easter Egg - Mirage of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

In the first movie there's a scene inside the Foot's warehouse where a teen is skateboarding on a ramp. Check out the boxes in the foreground and you'll see one with the word "Mirage" printed on it. Ask any turtle fan and they'll tell you that Mirage was the name of the company Eastman and Laird had when they first started publishing "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle" comic books. Cool, huh?

No, in other countries, they were referred to as Hero Turtles. In the US, both the movies and cartoon were titled Ninja Turtles

In Britain the cartoon series is known as Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, although the film is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

A comment about the "Hero Turtles" & "Ninja Turtles": Originally in the US, they were called "Ninja Turtles". But in some countries, like in Sweden where I live, the name was changed to "Hero Turtles" because people thought that the word Ninja was too violent.
