From Dusk till dawn Easter Egg - Quite a Gun

Check out the movie when all the characters are in the Titty Twister. Just before things start going crazy one of the guys that turns out to be a vampire hunter is threatened. He responds with a c*ck and balls gun mounted in his leather codpiece - pretty sharp! Now go and watch Desperado, also by Quentin Tarantino. When Antonio Banderas opens up his case of weapons you'll see the same c*ck and balls gun in there. A well travelled piece!

Quentin Tarantino didn't direct Desperado! It's a Robert Rodriquez movie, just like the original "El Mariachi". But your'e right about the gun though.

Quite right Larzi. Infact Rodriguez directed both Desperado and From Dusk til' Dawn. Antonio Banderas is quized by Salma Hayek about it.

Doesn't the Sex Machine caracter make some kind of appearance in "Dawn of the dead"?

Tom Savini was a Motorcycle Raider in Dawn of the Dead, he also did the special FX for it.

Two minor scenes from Desperado were removed featuring the "crotch-gun" which was used in Desperado during the second bar shootout and later this same gun went off accidentally when Banderas is in bed with Hayek. This gun was later borrowed to Tarantino and used for a scene in From Dusk Till Dawn.

Look, everyone. Once and for all, it is NOT the same gun! There were actually two different versions made. The one in Desperado was NEVER used in any action scenes, just as a prop because it was way to bulky and heavy to wear practically. The newer one in From Dusk till' Dawn is a refined version, toned down in scale. Oh, and watch Time Riders for Tom Savini, as well as one of the trashmen in Creepshow. He also did make-up effects for Friday the 13th parts 1-4, and is a Vietnam veteran.
