Maniac Mansion 2 Easter Egg - Play the Original Maniac Mansion

Five times? I only had to try it once.

A: I don`t think it`s an egg. B: I think it`s the push- command.

If you decide to read the manual, you'll find that it says in there somewhere that if you use the computer, it'll let you play the first game. You only need to use it once, but it may be different for different versions? of the game. I heard somewhere that for some of them you need an unlock code or something too.

You don't need the Computer from Ed's room to play the original Maniac Mansion. It's full on the CD (in the german version, but I think in the others too). Put the Maniac Mansion 2 CD in the CD-Rom drive. Then open it and go in the folder "Dott". Copy the folder "Maniac" to your harddrive. Open the folder Maniac on your harddrive and rename the file "Maniac.ovl" to "Maniac.exe". That's all. Now start the file Maniac.exe and play Maniac Mansion.

go to Ed's Room "Use Computer" will get you in on the first try, press Escape to exit you can also Look at it, if you want. You can do this anytime, but you will have to enter a "password" once you are far enough in the game. Copy Protection. This is all in the Manual, which is a neccessity later
