Myst Easter Egg - Don't Like This Library? Swap It for a New One!

This egg only works in the Atari version of Myst.
1. Go into the planetarium.
2. Sit in the chair and look up.
3. You'll see a machine that you can use for viewing constellations. Drag the sliding buttons down until the date near the viewer reads: May 22, 1970, 6:30 A.M. Press the grey button next to the viewer.
4. Go outside and look at the FRONT of the Library. If you did it right, it should look like the Atari Library!

Pretty sure. I found this egg on a website (www.rivenguild.com/illustrated/mysteggs) and it said it only works in Atari. I have yet to try it on a PC.

Yep, only works in the Atari version. I tried it on a PC and it didn't work. It might work on other operating systems, but I don't think so. I saw this egg on the site www.rivenguild.com/illustrated. Try it- it'll have more information on Myst and Riven easter eggs! (@_@)

Damn sure it only works in the Atari version. It doesn't work on a PC, and if you like, you can look at the website I got it from- click on Myst Easter Eggs. The address is: www.rivenguild.com/illustrated. There's LOADS of Riven and Myst stuff there!

Good luck trying it on a Mac. The RivenGuild website specifically says: This egg only works in the Atari version of Myst. It's a shame, though. But who needs Easter Eggs when you can have a nice little family sing-song, eh? On three, huh? One, two, three... Ten green bottles, standing on a wall... Ah, forget it. It might be a good egg, but I don't know. I haven't got the Atari version. Oh... what the heck! ...And if one green bottle should accidentally fall... ...There'll be NINE green bottles standing on the- NO! DON'T SHOOT ME!!!

Is it true that this date is the birthday of programmer who did the Jag Myst conversion? found that on some egg site: --> www.maxpages.com/jtcodeman/Atari_Jaguar_Cheats_2 If this is true then could we try other birthdays? Maybe that would be getting a little obsessive? yeah... :-)

Possible, yeah. Either that or the date the Jaguar (Atari) came out. I have no idea, I don't even know what an Atari is. I just found this on http://www.rivenguild.com/illustrated. Sorry!

An Atari is a really crappy video game system (it's really old, you see). I'm surprised they even bothered making an Atari version of Myst.

Well, they released Myst for PC and Mac at the same time. Plus, Myst is almost multi-lingual. There's not much of it that needs to be dubbed in other languages, so it can be sold worldwide easily. When you think about it, it's not that surprising that they released it for Atari. I think it's available on several console formats too.

You heard me, Myst on Atari. Never doubt the Riven Guild web-site. If they say that Myst is on Atari, Myst is on Atari. If they say that you should run under a bus, you run under a bus. I think it was referring to the version of MYST for the Atari Jaguar Game Console, which was the first "real" 64-bit gaming console...too bad it failed miserably.

THAT WAS IT! Yes! It was the Atari Jaguar version. If you complete the Egg, it shows you a picture of the Jaguar library.
