Black Sails In The Sunset (AFI) Easter Egg - Hidden Track

A hidden song on the last track of the CD, Black Sails In The Sunset by AFI. The last track is called 'God Called In Sick Today' and the hidden song 'Midnight Sun' is wicked like the rest of the cd. The actual song starts at 666 seconds into the song, so it's a little more than just another hidden track.

666 second would be 7:06 into the song...but it actually starts around 10:30 or so...which is still 666 seconds after the end of the song.

Umm you guys.. this is the most obvious secreat song ever. Not only does the CD not stop when God Called in Sick Today is over but it is written on the back slip of paper in the cd caseing. If you look at a CD, the edge that sticks out with the bands name, well on the other side of that is the name of the song. I can't really describe where it it, but look on the inside of your CD casing, it's written in there. It's also there on there new CD, The Art Of Drowning.

Yeah, you're right. Sorry, I meant 666 seconds after the end. And I know about the title being right there... 'battled' being the one on ..drowning. So yeah, it's 666 seconds after the end. Damn my finger hurts from holding down the track forward button...

Actually the song is called 'Beyond And To All Time I Stand'...It is on the back of the card spine bit that has the title and artist on. One of the best albums of all time.

Actually, just so everyone knows, the song IS actually called "Midnight Sun". Go freakin' look at their webpage for the lyrics, says right there: Midnight Sun. "Beyond and To All Time I Stand" and "Only those elements time cannot wear" are, of course, from Dante and in the song as well... Although the new cd has the name on the spine, apparently they didn't think of that on this one, anyway, just because the chorus is that line and it's on the spine doesn't mean that's the title. Look into it. And then get the vinyl and listen to "Lower It".
