ID4 - Independence Day Easter Egg - Hidden Menu Item on Ship

once you are on the ship, you will see a new menu. there is more on the ship then can be seen on this new menu. so how does one find other items on the ship. well at this new menu you need to use your remote and press the [+10] key 7 times and then push the number 3 and you will be taken to a secret secret menu item. Another example of this is pressing the [+10] key and then pushing the number 2. I think that this is all but with some more tinkering maybe some of you can find more eggs. They seemed to pack this disc full of extras.

On the screen with the ship functions, just hit the 7 number key then 2 or 3. Hence you will be entering the number 72 or 73...it works that way if you don't have a 10+ key.

I have an Emerson DVD player and no matter what I can't get inside the space ship 7-2-ENTER doesn't work, 7-3-ENTER doesn't work and 7-4-ENTER doesn't work. Can anyone help me? or do I just have a DVD player that can read it?

I have tried just 73 enter and just 73 or 74 or 72. I have tried EVERY thing and all that show up is a black box at the top right hand corner of my screen where you can ONLY punch one number at a time which are white. Nothing works nothing I need HELP EMAIL ME [email protected]

To access the hidden menu (Combat Review; Monitor Earth Broadcasts) in the spaceship, you don't need to go to the 'Data Console' first to be able to enter the access code 74. When you enter the main menu, you're standing right in front of the spaceship. Now enter the code: 74 This can be done in four different ways (depending on the type of DVD-player): 1. Type "7", "4" and "Enter" 2. Type "+10" seven times, followed by "4" 3. Type "+10" seven times, "4" followed by "Enter" 4. Type ">10", "7" and "4" followed by "Enter" (This one isn't very common!) After Entering the code, the ship starts to hover and you are automatically transported into the ship after about two seconds. Good luck, JAM
