Enema of the State(Blink 182) Easter Egg - Original Title for Enema of the State

That's kinda good they did that, 'coz that name is kinda confusing.

Wow, I never noticed that, and I'm sure most others will never notice it! That's a really good egg!

The name "Enema of the State" was made up by Tom at a photo shoot for "Enema" while Tom was making a joke about enema bags. He said that they might call it "enema of the State" as a joke and the name stuck. as for "Viking Wizard Eyes" I believe that MCA wanted a name for the CD and was going to make them call it that if they didnt decide on a name by a certain time. At least that is what TOm said on an interview not too long ago. -Paul of TeaReL

Ummmm.....Yeah......That's not right. I read an Blink interview and it's a joke about a magician that turned people gay. They were trying to figure out a lyric that rymed with 'lies', one member suggested this line, and it reminded them about Old Metal bands and their crazy lyrics, and they thought it was halarious. They started writing a song about it. It probably never got finished or made the cut. Anyway, just email me if youre that interested and I'll give ya the interview link.

That is such a cool Egg! There were a few other titles that they considered: Turn Your Head and Cough, and blink-182: Electric Boogaloo. I found out about these in a "Teen Magazine" article featuring them about a year ago.

ya okay secret agent man i'm sure you just noticed that the first day you bought it. do you always opend cd's as soon as you get them, take out the paper from the back and read whut it says under the fold? haha i just read it on some blink fan site before and went and checked my CD. it's pretty cool eh?

Viking wizard eyes viking full of lies is the name of Mark's favorite poem. It wasnt ever going to be the name of the cd. Get your facts right before you post.

I think that in a blink 182 video my mates got it has mark and tom sitting down talking when tom says something like "hey, how bout enema of the state" and mark replies "yeah...OK" its pretty cool to see how much work went into thinking up the title :)

OK, guys. As for that interview where Tom's all "hey, how about we call it Enema... of the State" and Mark's all "Yeah.. OK!". THAT WAS FULLY STAGED! They did it FOR the video. They didn't think it up then. They thought it up ages ago, and just put it on the video to make it seem like you saw them think it for the first time.

ok, embress, i have a cd called "Maximum Blink" it has the story of blink 182 and stuff and it has an interview or recording of mark talking about enemas and said "Hey! wheres tom, i got an idea", "hey tom! lets call it enema.. of the state" and they both laff and laff. so i think ur wrong.
