On the second disc, enter the "Main Console" menu. Go to where it says Main Menu and push the right arrow of your remote. It will highlight the computer light. When you push enter, it will say "System Activated: Access: 7-4-enter"
Quickly go back to the main menu and on the remote control push 74 and push enter.

for Pioneer DV-525 users: the [7]-[4]-[Enter] doesn't work. You'll need to press 7 times the [+10] button and 1 time the [4] button to hack into the ship. No need to press [Enter]. Brilliant movie

I have a Fisher DVD-S1000 player. I can get the space ship to move by putting in the disc. And I went back to the main menu, but whenever I try to hit the 7-4-Enter, there is a signal at the top right of my screen that says I can't do it. Can anybody help me?

Other Computer Codes With the 'normal' egg, you have to enter 7 - 4 - Enter. The 7 and 4 stand for July and 4th (ie 4th July - Independence Day). Don't forget the movie actually starts on the 2nd of July - So try entering 7 - 2 - Enter and 7 - 3 - Enter. These will allow you to access all the battle scenes and all the news reports, instead of relying on the random order of the 7 - 4 egg.

Does anyone know how to get this working on an Akai DV-P2000. I don't have a +10 button on my remote yet it still doesn't work. The Nakamichi DVD-10 is almost exactly the same player, so I guess if it works on that machine somehow, it should work on the Akai the same way.

On disc 2 highlight the data console. Press play. The angle will zoom in to the computer on a desk. Highlight the Main Menu item. Now press your right(>) directional and a red light on the computer monitor will be on. Press play. First, the disc goes in and the ship turns on. As it it starts to hover off the floor the computer screen changes to say System activated-Access 7:4 enter. After this happens the Main Menu option is highlighted again. Press play. The angle will zoom away from the computer to show the whole room again. BE SURE TO PRESS THE +10 button THEN Press 7 then 4 and you will zoom inside the ship.

I have a Samsung Blu Ray player and can get the siip to float but pressing the 7 and 4 gives me a black boxed !NOT AVAILABLE message in the middle of the screen. I guess the Blu Ray players don't accept the code. I worked with my standard DVD player but not with this one. Anyone figured out how to do this with a Blu Ray Player especially the Samsungs?
