Sandler's always using the names of directors/writers/etc. in his movies and also on his SNL skits (e.g. "That Herlihy Boy," and "Mr. Herlihy." That name I think has come up the most, and is the name of one of the SNL writers when Sandler was on, and he also did alot in Sandler's movies, too, but I am no expert. Cool that you noticed that, man.

Teddy Castelucci is also a member of his band. They were on HBO for Adam Sandler's comedy hour. So the member of the band is probably the same director of music then. So again, he used a name of his friend in his movie.
