Quake Easter Egg - Dopefish Advice


1. Start Quake
2. Enter the HARD portal
3. Go for the portal of 4th episode
4. DO NOT enter the 4th episode, but fall down in the water pit close to direction you come
5. You fall on a wooden pathway to the Nightmare skill selection
6. Where you're under the stairs, shoot the paint
7. In the corridor's corner, a message appears: "The Dopefish awaits you in The Cript of Decay"

At the end of the small hallway that leads to the Nightmare mode you will see a light on the wall (it looks like some kind of skin with torchlight flickering behind it) shoot or hit that to open the Crypt of Decay...home of the Dopefish

if you don't know, the dopefish is from commander keen 4. the level, the well of wishes, is home to the dopefish. in quake, the well of wishes has a picture of a dopefish.
