Letterman DID go to college...he went to MY college, the one I go to now, the one he referenced for about a month nightly on his program when we had the our 16 game losing streak - Ball State University. And YES, he was a Sigma Chi. He majored in telecommunications. We have a studio, a scholorship, and other things named after him.

Yes, Dave went to Ball State in Muncie, Indiana.... there's even a plaque in the Telecommunications Building from him that states something along the lines of "Dedicated to all 'C' Students, by Dave Letterman"
