Gremlins 2: The New Batch Easter Egg - No Ideas at Warner Brothers?

In the scene in the gen-lab, one gremlin injects himself something to make him resident to sunlight, and a liquid to give him some characteristics of a bat. Some seconds after his metamorphosis to something that looks like a dragon, he crashes through the laboratory wall. The hole has the shape of the batman-sign! this picture is rather short, but it is there!

I think this was planned, to have the bat look like the batman symbol.

Gremlins 3? This happens in Gremlins 2 buddy. I don't even think there is a Gremlins 3!

I thought that scene was in Gremlins: The New Batch, which was the second film. I was unaware there was a 3rd film.

Yes this does occur in Gremlins 2. There is no Gremlins 3, although I wish there was. And of course the bat signal is intentional and they guy who left the egg knew it was, that's why he put it on the Easter Egg site and not the Slip-Up sight.

I think it's more of a nod towards Christopher Lee's career. He's been Count Dracula in about 30 movies.

No it's Batman. You can tell it is the Batman symbol not just any bat. Warner Bros. probably did this because of the recent success of their movie 'Batman' at the time.

Forgetting all the Gremlins 3 nonsense, this is not an easter egg. It is a visual gag intended for the appreciation of any viewer with knowledge of the batman symbol, not any obscure or insider knowledge.

@bbX - That is what an Easter Egg is. Little "Hidden" Messages / Thank you's / Acknowledgment / Hand Shakes or "Gags"... etc. Just like Stage performers / Newscasters / Public Speakers and TV presenters do for their families when they say "Hello" by scratching their Nose or rubbing their Ear...etc. So Yes it IS an Easter Egg.
