Well for those who didn't knew, if you click on one of the 6 tv's you actually see the videos that are playing, (gone away, the meaning of life, ect.) all from the Ixnay in the Ombre album...

This does not work on my version of Americana. I have the UK version and it does not say anything on the back about cd-rom capabilities.

I highly doubt this is an egg, because my cd came with instructions telling how to run this option, that is if it didn't already "auto-load" on your pc.

Welcome to the wonderful world of enhanced CD's people. theres actually rather alot of them out there. Limp Bizkit's "Significant Other", Sheryl Crow's "The Globe Sessions", and I Mother Earth's "Blue Green Orange" come to mind off the top of my head, although theres more that I can't remember right now. Alot of bands have taken to filling the empty space on their albums with special treats for thier fans

What about 'There Is Nothing Left to Lose' by the Foo Fighters? There's also a bunch of other stuff you can do on Americana. I forgot though, cause it's my friends and I havent seen it for a while.

Americana, as well as lots of other CDs these days (example: the Fear Factory "Obsolete" digipak, *NSync's self-title, etc.) will usually say "Enhanced CD") somewhere on the packaging, like on the back liner notes or inside the spine. If it says Enhanced CD, chances are it's got something like a screensaver or games or photos or SOMETHING. Therefore, if it's an Enhanced CD it's probably got something special...that doesn't really count as an egg, per se. But on Fuel's "Something Like Human" CD, it doesn't come right out and say "Enhanced CD" on the packaging--it says CD-Extra on the "featuring" sticker. that's not necessarily an egg either. basically....if it's mentioned on the packaging somewhere that there are extras or it's enhanced, why consider it an egg?

No extras on the UK release of Americana, but a whole host one Conspiracy of One, Karaoke, videos, link to the Offspring web site and a montage of clips from their new film Huck It. Maybe they felt guilty for giving us the finger on Americana.

I'm from Australia and on the inside back cover of the CD booklet, it says 'This is a cd-rom. Put it in your computer and see what happens.' I don't think it's much of an easter egg if they tell you that it does something in your computer.

Come off it! This is no easter egg, and is an even worse submission than all the cheat codes flaunted as eggs in the computer games section. It's a good inclusion on the CD, but given it's part of what you're paying for, it's far from an egg...
