South Park Easter Egg - Closing Braniff Jingle

The little jingle that plays right after the credits, while the Braniff Logo and airplane are shown, is not a Braniff jingle. It is the melody from the song "Schpedoinkle Day," from the movie "Cannibal the Musical" which is Trey Parker's first film.

Although Braniff no longer exists, the name is used here for Parker and Stone's production company.

Braniff existed around 10 years ago but went Bankrupt, so you're both right... Braniff actually has nothing to do with Trey and Matt other than as a joke sponsor for South Park.
