1.turn on the tv
2.press both of the volume buttons at the same time
3.you should see the display shown in the stores

This is not an easter egg. My manual tells how to do this. It's called "Demo Mode".

umm.. I had one of these TV's when I was little.... I still do... and I ALWAYS hit the volume keys at the same time, just to see what it would do, and the egg DOESN'T WORK!

On model TS3262-C101: Press and hold down the vol. up and ch. down buttons to activate the demo mode. Use the same key combination or press the POWER button on the front of the TV set to exit the demo.

This is a common feature (not just the volume buttons) on many electronics to be able to activate the DEMO feature.

My eighty year old mother-in-law managed to accidently switch her ten year old TV (Magnavox PR1910C) into DEMO mode and left it on all night because she couldn't figure out how to exit the mode. Pressing the UP and DOWN volume buttons simultaneously worked to exit the DEMO mode.

I have a Magnavox model 25E501-00AA. My TV went into demo mode on its own, after a power outage due to a thunderstorm. This information was NOT in my manual, and I was thrilled to find it in order to get my TV OUT of demo mode. Thank you!

I had the same thing happen to model no. PS1980B121 and when I called Magnavox, they told me the t.v. was too old and they didn't know what to do. Nowhere in the manual did it say how to fix the t.v. being stuck in demo mode. I was ready to set the t.v. out for trash pick-up when I found this site. I tried pushing both volume buttons at once and IT WORKED! Thanks! You saved me having to buy a new t.v. for my daughters room!
