Million Dollar Hotel, The Easter Egg - Bono Vox Cameo

Actually, Bono and U2 preformed a music video (i think 'the streets have no name') and they wanted to film it on top of the real million dollar hotel but couldn't so they filmed it on the roof of a liquor store but got construction crews to erect a 'million dollar hotel' sign in the background. And then after the video was shot, Bono wrote a screenplay for a movie titled 'the million dollar hotel'. (it was never produced).

Actually, The Million Dollar Hotel is based on Bono's screenplay. It was originally going to be produced in the early 90's, but for one reason or another it never was. Nicholas Klein co-wrote the final version of the movie with Bono.

Actual the director of the movie (Wim Wenders) and Bono are old friends. He also made a movie far away so close, bono made the soundtrack for it. And if you don't know it U2 have made a song of the same title, and Wenders was the director of the video. ;-) See Ya Ironymus

I know about this egg because of my sister. She is litterally OBSESSED with Bono. turns out that Bono wrote the storyline. NOT the actual screenplay. My sister made me sit through the whole thing twice just cause "Mr. Bono Vox Of O'collen Street" was in it.
