Hocus Pocus (Disney) Easter Egg - Brother and Sister As Husband and Wife!

In the Disney comedy "Hocus Pocus" that stars Bette Midler, Kathy Nijamy and Sarah Jessica Parker as Witches; there is another treat on that Halloween night. At the door that the trio knock on "the Devil" answers ready to pass out treats to children. The witches mistake Gary Marshall(director) for the real deal. His T.V. watching, cigarette smoking and less enthusiastic wife is played by Penny Marshall(another director). Two great comedy directors in one family playing an old middle-aged husband and wife. Penny throws out the over enthusiastic admirers of her silly husband....

Yes, he's also the director of Laverne and Shirly and thats one of the reasons that Penny Marshell got the part of Laverne.

Cool egg. But ive always wondered in this film ever since I was little. Why does Alison, after the Max goes on about day light saving time in the witches home, is whistling, blowing and waving her arms for them to get into the car?
