Fallout 2 Easter Egg - An Actual "Easter" Easter Egg

Ok these are the steps to find an actual easter egg in the game (im so suprised it hasnt been mentioned)

1st.Go to the basement of the gunshop in New Reno
2nd.Go to the far right corner of the basement.
3rd.Go to the middle trash heap (still at the far right).
4rth.Move your mouse around the small trash can very slowly until something that is pretty much invisible gets highlighted ,pick it up ,and you have yourself your very own easter egg :)(p.s. i dont really know the use of it ,so you might wanna try it on some stuff to see if it does anything)

I have played Fallout 1 and 2 so many times I get dizzy thinking about it and the EGG is news to me. As to it's function While you are wandering the wastes, you will eventually run into King Arthur and his Knights ( M.P.F.C.) who are looking for the "Holy Handgrenade of Antioch" (SP?) Maybe it is the egg that you found that they are looking for. They might trade a G.E.C.K. for it. Give it a try and let me know how it turns out.

The Easter Egg has no real use. Before the game was shipped, the creators of the game planned on it giving you some help. But, they had to take some things out of the game, and that was one of the things they removed. I guess they forgot to take out the actual Easter Egg. As for the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, that is the same case. You were supposed to be able to find it and give it to King Arhur and his Knights, but it was taken out of the game.

I have also found the cloaked guy at the bridge of death. I got the name and the quest question. Then i got the swallow question. When i answered that one per the movie he blew up and i got his cloak. It had some pretty strong defense. Espcially for a cloak.

Actually you are wrong about Dogmeat. All the people in The Cafe of Broken Dreams are from Fallout 1 (or were supposed to be in it.) The actual survivor is Tandi (the President of NCR), who was just a little girl in Fallout 1, but is not an old old woman.

Actually the Bridge o' Death can be found multiple places on the map, it's different every time you play. And if you already found the G.E.C.K. and went to the village the available answer is "To save my people" or something like that. Also you can find The Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz, use the oil can near him on him and he'll give you some energy ammo.

HEY MY BIG FRIEND HAROLD, he survived too remember? The ghoul in Old Town(Hub), later in Fallout 2 you can find him in Gecko. You can talk for hours with him. 'How did you survived at the military base?' 'Didn't, got killed! Hahaha, godlove that joke!' 'Is that a tree growing outta your head?' 'Jealous? his name's Herbert. I talk to him when I get lonely. Heh heh just kiddin', his name's Bob!'

THIS IS SOMETHING I FOUND AT INTERPLAY.COMI've heard something about an Easter Egg. Does this exist and if so, what does it do? This factoid contains a slight spoil. Do not read any further if you do not want to know. There is an "Easter Egg" in the game. It looks and is labeled as an "Easter Egg". This is JUST a hidden item in the game for those of you who hunt every inch of a game. That's all! It can NOT be used and does nothing_ even if there was a salt shaker in the game, it still would let you use the item. ;)

AvoidablePrune, what the hell? Did you even play the first Fallout? Tandi wasn't a little girl. If she was she was very big for her age. She was about 20 or so. She was the daughter of Aradesh, the leader of Shady Sands.

I first heard about the "Easter Egg" while playing with my magic 8-ball. You can find the magic 8-ball when you search in Mr. bishop's pool table at his house.

The bridge is easy- Ask him a question to answer the third question with Bloody mess enabled. *laugh* Now search him and take his cape. Its like combat armor and weighs less. O, and the people in vault city don't realize your wearing it and think you're wearing a vault suit.

Pipboy200 . . . I find it ridiculous that you cannot even correctly cite the name of your favorite movie, especially assuming you must be a Monty Python junky. Anyone who follows them that much should know it is Monty Python and the Holy Grail. . . not Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail.
