Poppin' up ? Good ole Quentin has a MAJOR role in Robert Rodriguez's "From disk till dawn", in which he plays George Clooney's younger brother.

Four Rooms - Chester, the Man from Hollywood, star of The Wacky Detective and soon-to-be-star of The Dogcatcher Dusk Till Dawn - Yea, he played the brother (don't recall the name) of George Cloony's character.

QT wrote True Romance, but I don't think he had a cameo in it.

Tarantino has gone on record saying that he originaly wanted to be an actor and started writing and particularly directing, to give himself parts.

this is in reply to stb (True Romance) When Clarence (Christian Slater) goes to get Alabama's (Patricia Arquette) stuff from Drexl's (Gary Oldman) pimp pad there is a porno playing in the background that Drexl refers to, the guy in the movie is none other than Quint himself.

Actually, no, that is not QT in the "porno". If you pay attention to the movie, it tells you that the movie that is on is "The Mack" with Carol Speed and Richard Pryor. It is a real movie. You can go rent it if you like. Just a little FYI. Pay attention next time.

The film referred to by Gary Oldman in "True Romance" was "The Mack," which, I believe, was produced in the 1970's...long before Tarantino's career began. Tarantino was not involved in the production of "True Romance," so it seems unlikely that he would have made a cameo in it. In fact, Roger Avary was hired to re-write the ending, which evidently contributed to the falling-out between Avary and Tarantino.

Just to let you know, for your own records, any falling out between Avary and Tarrantino happened after Pulp Fiction was released. True Romance was released in 93, Pulp Fiction in 94. So, Avary rewriting the ending of True Romance had nothing to do with it.

In Kill Bill Vol 1, Quentin is one of the MANY dead ninjas in the club that Uma Thurman (aka the bride) kills. Not too sure if that's an egg or a bit of naff trivia but thought it was vaguely relevant!
