Hunchback of Notre Dame, The (Disney) Easter Egg - Pumba Cameo

In the ending scene where Frolo is chasing Quasi and Esmerelda out onto the balcony there is a shot looking out on just the gargoyles. The first gargoyle is actually Pumba, from The Lion King, another Disney movie.

It´s a boar (that kind of wild pig), but I don´t think it´s Pumba. The shape is quite different.

This is most definitely NOT Pumbaa. It's obvious from the simple boar shape and lack of enlarged tusks and mane that it's just an ordinary Gargoyle. Go to Notre Dame in Paris and you'll see several just like it. Sorry.
