In "The Mystery Girl" chapter, Peter gets fired by Dr. Connors and he wishes that the iguana he is carrying will bite the doctor and turn him into a giant lizard. This actually happens to him and turns him into Lizard. Also, in "The Photographer" Jack Murdock, one of the wrestlers against Bone Saw McGraw, phones up his son, Matt, and says "Son, wait till I tell you about the genuine daredevil who saved your old man. . . !" Matt Murdock becomes Daredevil in the comics and the movie.
