1. Turn to page 21 ('Watto's Junkshop')
2. Look in the actual junkyard next to Watto's shop.
3. Partially hidden by the entrance arch is the pod that Dave Bowman used to try and retrieve Frank Poole's body with in Kubrick's '2001: A Space Odessey'|!

There is a label describing it as a 'Repair and maintenance pod of unknown origin'. I wonder if the Star Wars universe converged with the 2001 universe at some point?
