Babylon 5 Easter Egg - First Television Mention of B5

In the mid-80's B5's Writer/Director JMS wrote for a children's live action sci-fi action adventure series: "Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future". Unlike many shows that were driven by the toys they were trying to sell, Captain Power actually had a decent script and plotline, due in part to JMS's writing.

Interestingly enough, this series also foreshadowed the greatness to come: in the Captain Power episode "Final Stand," the character Tank mentions that he's from the Babylon 5 Genetic Engineering Colony. In the epsiode "A Summoning of Thunder, part 2", one of the characters uses one of Kosh's favorite quotes "And so it begins."
