Gangs of New York Easter Egg - An Italian Irishman?

About 30 or 40 minutes into the movie, when Amsterdam (Leonardo DiCaprio) follows Jenny (Cameron Diaz) to that large mansion where she is about to change into a maid's costume and steal from the home's owners, there is an indoor shot of the family that lives in the manor around a banquet table. Look at the far right, and you'll see Martin Scorsese in full Victorian regalia and prominent sideburns. This should come as no surprise to Scorsese's fans, as Marty is known to pop up in most (but not all) of his films.
